Five things to do while in Volos to feel like a local

1. Start your day by having a delicious breakfast or a late brunch in one of the coffee shops by the port. The taste of the food and the view will reward you and fill you up to start your day with the right energy.

2. Take your walk and of course do your purchases from the Volos market. Ermou Street is the most commercial street in the city of Volos. There you will find everything. From clothes and jewelry to herbs and cosmetics.

3. Go up the hill the afternoon on Goritsa hill to enjoy the sunset. If you are still well trained, I would recommend leaving your car in the parking lot of the EAK football stadium just below the top of the hill and going uphill on foot. The climb will take you quite a bit of time but the sunset with the view of the city will make up for it.

4. Have a coffee and a lunch at the most famous city place called Volonaki. It took the name from an area in Athens called Kolonaki as they are very similar and both very popular places to eat your lunch/dinner, drink your coffee or wine with friends and relax. There you will definitely get to know all types of locals as it is the busiest place.

5. Last but not least, if you are by the port, do not forget to stroll around the famous cord. By the term "cordon", locals mean the breakwater of the port.

That's all for now my happy travellers. Keep safe for now and see you soon!
