It is one of the most famous beaches in the prefecture. Mylopotamos is the beach you will photograph and few will believe it is in Pelion. After all, Pelion is a mountain and few visitors know its beaches as strange as it may seem.

The beach of Mylopotamos is well known and photographed for its deep blue clean waters and for the hole in a huge rock in the middle that mentally divides it into two almost isomeric sections.

If you are in the center of Volos and want to get here you can take two different routes. One is via Portaria (Volos-Portaria - Chania - Tsagarada - Mylopotamos) and the other is through Agria (Agria - Kala Nera - Milies - Mylopotamos).

The beach is 5 minutes from the road and the parking lot where you will leave your car and then there are few steps to the heaven beach. Nonetheless, in the middle of summer and especially on the 15th of August, you will find it difficult to find a parking space. Unfortunately for those travelling without a car the beach is not easily accesible as there are not bus routes.

Below are some photos of the beach so you will know our kind of paradise!
